about

"What falls away is always. And is near." ~ Theodore Roethke

This EP was created accidentally in early 2009 while experimenting with reverb effects in Reaktor. I was using a plug-in recorder and had forgotten that it was on and still recording.

A few days later, while going through the project folders, I found a 35 minute .wav track and curious, started listening to it and realized what had happened. Hence, it was created "transparently" so to speak and strictly as an improvisation, it is rather nicely meditative.

So, I divided the track into three parts and this EP was the result. It is lo-fi in nature, due to the way it was recorded and I decided not to polish it or add any EQ or effects, but instead, let it stand as is, as a "record" of musical serendipity.

I recommend listening to it at low volume.

It can be considered a companion piece to Infinite Prayers.
